Ok, Its Duckworth Lewis again but this time in the opening ODI and not in a pressure game where the stakes are High. Make no mistake its good to get off to a great start and gain Momentum but the Proteas can take some positives going in to the 2nd ODI. Especially Quinton De Koks fabulous Knock.138 not out 96 deliveries with 12 x4 and 6×6 .England were also devastating with the bat. Butler smacked 105 of 76 balls with 11 x4 and 5 sixes
The rain came and ruined a good stance put up earlier by FAF and QDC. Overall Im happy with the SA Team. Bowling wise though we miss the venom of Dale Steyn. Media reports were rife that he has passed his best etc. But you can see some fierce bite lacking in the attack. Lets see what the second ODI has in store before we start getting overly critical.
