About the hard yards when nobody is watching"-Again a special Congratulations to all the Athletes that completed Iron Man South Africa, especially the Fun Tri Group from Emmarentia. Had the privilege of knowing most of you for past 5 years. Many selfless athletes that continue to inspire and educate us in this sport rapidly developing in the community. I had my cousin @hoosainmayet with his extended PE family supporting on the PE roads. He described the atmosphere as electric. The participants gave their all in the event, very proud moments. He added the local community women were inspired by @mariamparuk and there was a buzz every time she passed. When they heard a Muslim female was taking part they scrambled quickly to make a banner for her. Athletes were breaking for salaat which was humbling too. Well done. Also in January I competed in a Fun sprint Tri held at Emmarentia dam. This experience justifies the term RESPECT. You realize what goes in to swim 3.8km in the Ocean, bike for 180km and then run for 42km. It's an amazing feat. Ameer Motala. Look what you and the guys have done to the sport in the community.
