Prep time: 5 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream

  • ½ cup smooth or crunchy peanut butter

  • ½ cup whole milk (add extra for a thinner consistency)

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • Optional toppings: Whipped cream, crushed peanuts, or chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Chill the glasses: Place two tall glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes prior to serving to help keep the milkshake cold.

  2. Combine ingredients: Add the vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, whole milk, and vanilla extract to a blender jar.

  3. Blend: Process on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thick, stream in an additional 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk and pulse briefly.

  4. Serve: Pour immediately into the chilled glasses. Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of crushed peanuts, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce if desired.
