DAY 2 — COLESBERG ➡️ GRAAFF-REINET ➡️ JEFFREYS BAY 🌊
What a day on the road! 🙏🏽🏍️
This morning started with a solo ride from Colesberg to Graaff-Reinet and what a challenging two hours it was! The cold was absolutely biting and the strong winds certainly tested me. 🥶💨 But sometimes it’s those difficult stretches of the journey that make reaching your destination even more rewarding.
Arriving in Graaff-Reinet, I was happy to finally meet up with the rest of my riding crew … my three fellow riders. From there, the four of us rode together all the way to Jeffreys Bay via Jansenville.
The ride from Graaff-Reinet was simply beautiful… Peaceful roads, incredible scenery and that feeling of being completely free on two wheels. 🏍️🌅
… And now, we’re safely in Jeffreys Bay. 🤲🏽
The bikes are parked, the riders have taken a 2,5km walk along beach front to Kitchen Windows restaurant and we’re looking forward to Day 3 to Wilderness via Storms River and Knysna and whatever this incredible journey has in store for us.
