CAPE ADVENTURE — DAY 1 | LENASIA → COLESBERG

And so the adventure begins! 🏍️🇿🇦

Today I finally hit the road on my first-ever motorcycle journey to the Cape. From Lenasia to Colesberg … roughly 8 hours in the saddle, taking in the changing landscapes and that feeling of freedom that only a motorcycle journey can give you.

I’m finally here in Colesberg, tired but grateful and definitely ready for a good night’s rest! 😴

Colesberg is a historic Karoo town, established in the early 1800s and named after Sir Lowry Cole, who was Governor of the Cape Colony. It became an important stop along the old route between the Cape and the interior and today it still carries that wonderful character of an old Karoo town.

Tomorrow the journey continues… Colesberg → Graaf Reinet where I’ll meet up with the rest of the crew en route to Jeffreys Bay and the real adventure begins. 🏍️🤙

For now, it’s time to recharge, refuel and get some much-needed sleep.

One road. One adventure. Many memories to come.

Keep following along … I’ll be sharing the places, the people, the history and the photographs along the way. 📸🇿🇦

Next stop: Jeffreys Bay! 🌊🏍️

Please keep us in your Duahs/Prayers for a safe journey. 🤲🏻🙏🏻
